Compromise/surrender are NOT in the Islamic (or Jewish)
tradition. You DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES even IF its suicidal.
This is a critical cultural gap between the West and
the middle-east.
SO ... Trump can bomb a few sites - but it won't
end the war. It's a "holy war" at this point.
As for nukes - Iran probably HAS some by now ...
but can't reliably DELIVER. The Israeli defense
is VERY good.
Meanwhile, Iranian missiles - small and large -
continue to raid down on Israel. Apparently a
large automotive factory near Tel Aviv was
vaporized. The defense maze IS very good, but
can never get them ALL. The trick here is that
Iranian nukes will be "precious" - so they
can't risk them being shot down ... delivery
has to be almost SURE to be worth it.
ENOUGH Iranian missiles WILL eventually
degrade/deplete IronDome. Israel has
also deployed it's new laser-based
system - which just needs electricity
to work. However there are reports of
on-ground attacks in Israel ... some
MIGHT attack/jam the defense system.
In short, it's all still "fluid".
NOT sure if Iran has hired China to build
missiles. Best if they have NO Chinese markings.
China buys a LOT of oil from Iran - so this is
an important issue for them. China MIGHT be
inclined to manufacture stuff for Iran -
enough to put Israel in a bad spot. The
Israeli system is good, but CAN be overwhelmed
by sheer volume.
