The US has shifted a number of large air-tankers into
the area. There is now a large build-up of US heavy
bombers on Diego Garcia. Trump yesterday suggested
that everyone in Tehran should evac. He also advised
the UberTollah that we know exactly where he is at
all times.
These 30,000 pound deep-penetrating bombs are beyond
what Israeli aircraft can carry. To get at a few
under-mountain Iranian facilities it'd be necessary
to use US planes. This would tend to drag us into
this a bit further than desired.
There would still be questions about whether such
an attack ACTUALLY destroyed the nuke facilities
without sending in people on the ground.
IMHO, Iran has had at least a few nukes for some
years now ... it's OLD tech. External entities have
been banned from parts of their program. What Iran
lacks is sure way to DELIVER the things. Israeli
defenses are GOOD - and nukes are something you
want to get in FOR SURE.
