This particular alarmist (typical of DailyMail) is about
Aspergillus fumigatus ... especially found in warm/wet
climates. Those include parts of the USA.
Alas it's NOT all hype. People who are even a bit
immuno-compromised - HIV or taking strong drugs
for auto-immunity syndromes or simply old or
very young - are at risk. You can't dodge it ...
spores float in the air. You'd practically have to
wear hazmat suits 24/7.
It WILL rot you to death from within - and there's
very little modern med can do. Fungi are TOUGH.
Alas fungal type diseases seem to be on a sharp
RISE the past few years. Death rates ARE increasing.
