Short story, India bought planes and helicopters from
diverse sources - Russia, France, UK, USA - but that
was rather a long time ago. NOW the aircraft are getting
old. This puts India at a disadvantage to Pakistan and
any other threats.
India has been trying to build its own fighter-bomber,
but even though contracted years ago not one has been
delivered.
If India has to go shopping again we'd LIKE it to be
in the EU and USA, not Russia or China.
