Video from a Ring doorbell camera in the Sloan’s Lake area
    is raising eyebrows.

A homeowner believes the video shows two people carrying out
a social media door kick challenge.

It was quiet at 2 a.m. Tuesday outside the home in the
neighborhood, until there was sound of someone trying to
    break down a door.

Two people with their heads covered can be seen on a Ring
doorbell surveillance camera running up the sidewalk and
simultaneously kicking the home’s front door.

On the outside of the door, you can see footprints. But
behind the door, you can see real damage.

“When the first person kicked right here, it actually broke
this piece that interlocks into the frame of the door and it
separated it and broke also the back of the handle of the
lock itself,” the homeowner, Jorgen, said.

He says fixing the damage to the door and replacing the
frame it will need will cost close to $4,000.

“It’s very disturbing. Very disturbing. You wake up and you
see someone has done that. I think it’s very evil. I don’t
understand why you would do that to other people,” Jorgen said.

    . . .

First off ... $4000 to reset a door frame ???

Second, this size/scale of attack is gonna get
a lot of idiot punks SHOT DEAD. People in the
house HAVE to assume it's deadly gangstas or
    worse these days.

But wait - shooting unarmed intruders

And yet some states have "stand your ground" laws, such as...

In 2005, Florida passed a law related to castle doctrine, expanding on that
premise with “stand your ground” language related to self-defense and duty
to retreat. Florida’s law states “a person who is not engaged in an
unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she
has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or
her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he or she
reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great
bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission
    of a forcible felony.”

    And then you have...

    <https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/judge-rules-white-man-will-stand-trial-for-shooting-black-teen-ralph-yarl-who-went-to-wrong-house>

A Missouri judge ruled Thursday that the 84-year-old white homeowner who
shot a Black teenager after he mistakenly went to the man’s house must
    stand trial.

Clay County Judge Louis Angles issued the ruling after hearing from several
witnesses at a preliminary hearing, including Ralph Yarl, the teenager who
was shot by Andrew Lester on April 13 when Yarl went to the wrong house to
    pick up his younger brothers.

A result of constant Republican fear-mongering.

    GOOD !

"In fear" ... and in today's culture it's VERY legit ...
is a reason for hard-core defensive measures.

    And then you have...

This is a more 'marginal' case ... but, in truth, 'black'
crime HAS escalated to an extreme degree over the past
few years. Being 'black' is not an all-purpose shield,
but should not be an overall excuse for assassins either.

I also don't think we got ALL the facts about that
particular case ... just the "evil old racist shoots
sweet black boy for no reason" angle. There was
    something MORE here ....

A result of constant Republican fear-mongering.

As opposed to the WokieCom fear-mongering about
    neo-NAZI take-overs ???

Seen any of that recent Kristen Stewart movie ???
