    Well, you see, the trade war would only make iPhones more flex-able,
    because they'll be more expensive (unless they actually move to the US
    ofc). Flexing an iPhone would only mean more with tarriffs, not less.
    Even with that, Apple isn't going to completely lose out, because
    normal people will keep buying them. There are still good reasons to
    own an iPhone.

    But you are right in that flexing an iPhone is not at all impressive.
    It's easy to afford "luxuries" today. It's hard to afford
    "necessities". It's a complete flip from the 20th century (or even the 2000s). A flex in today's world is owning a house.

    For my previous phone, I switched to iPhone. A nice piece of gear, but the Apple silo isn't so nice. I also got tired of the thing going active in
    my pocket.

    My current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S24. Just as good a piece of gear.
    And it won't turn on accidentally in my pocket. Also, I can bypass
    the Samsung silo. I can create and add my own ringtones.
