“ElevenLabs developed an AI-generated replica of my voice
under my strict supervision, which will establish an
unforgettable connection with my personal story, in multiple
languages for listeners worldwide,” Trump said.
ElevenLabs CEO Mati Staniszewski called the effort a “first-
of-its-kind audiobook project,” saying the company looked
“forward to helping bring this book to the public in many
other languages” in the first lady’s “own voice.”
More versions of her book “will be released in multiple
languages, including Spanish, Hindi and Portuguese” in
the fall, according to the publisher.
. . .
An AI Melania reading stories in Hindi ... that
ought to be interesting.
Seems AI *is* going to replace most human
talent/celebs - the cost factor pretty much
ensures that. At some point an AI is gonna
be awarded the Oscar ........ might not be
THAT far in future either. No more seven-figure
checks to Tom Cruise.
Right now, the AI just works 'puppets' - fake
audio-visual, maybe with fake people as 'stars'.
Dozens of actual human tekkies work the AI to
produce those effects to spec. But sometime
soon the AI will be good enough so few or
no humans are needed at all - the story, the
'actors', the music, the editing - all done
by an AI ordered to 'make movies". AI already
knows what humans like, how to structure a
movie plot, intriguing camera angles, all
the aesthetics - it's studied every film
ever made.
