Time to consider more vegetarian Indian cuisine. (There was such a place in >>> Pasadena and it was so good one didn't even notice the lack of meat.)

Stay away from sugar, all variations, and carbs and you will be on your way.

    Correct.

Note that many common veggies are almost pure carbs.

Meats. Nuts. Eggs. Lower-carb veggies. One B-complex
a week. That's how to do it. The super-value giant
bag of Cheeze Puffs and large Coke for lunch ... no.

    Yep.
Look up Keto and see what is acceptable.
Monitor your blood levels and decide if it's working for you.
It doesn't work the same for everyone.

Been mostly keto for about 8 years now - still
alive and lost about 50 pounds. Sugar and BP
    all good now.

Some people basically live on a 7000-cal
    double-chocolate cheeze snacks and pizza
diet. There's a serious time limit on HOW
long they're gonna live alas. You can get
away with it in yer 20s, but then.

Oh well, saves Social Security a lot ....

Hmmm ... just saw a TV commercial where some
guy buys a whole truck full of some kind of
new super-pretzels ...... and they used to
think cig ads were bad :-)

As for Where's The Beef ... was in the market
over the weekend. Prices didn't seem THAT bad.
They HAVE blacklisted Mex cattle now, over
screw worms, but that's only for live cows.
    Pre-done/frozen ... still OK.

SOME beef is perfectly OK, has a number of
vitamins and stuff things like chicken and
turkey don't. The idea is not to OD however ...
    bacon triple cheeseburgers breakfast lunch
and dinner may SOUND 'keto', but ...

You two having your own little 'Marie Antoinette' moment. :)

Low carb food is more expensive. Anything based on starch is
    plentiful and cheap.

Mom, pop and 2.4 kids can't eat steak every day on a $100 a week
    grocery budget

You're just SO negative Swill ........
TDS Hate has consumed your soul.

Oh, not GOOD to eat steak every day. Try
chicken and turkey most of the time.
