    Pretty sad, but in the 90s a couple of my friends were having a "play"
    gunfight in the street, and the cops came up then to see what was going
    on. No helicopters or anything like that, just some curious cops.
    These friends were at the time in their mid to late teens...

    The US murder rate is seven times higher.

    Ummmm ... when is the last time you read UK news ???

    Even in the past, while Brits didn't MURDER each
    other as much they WERE quite fond of beating
    people until they were brain-damaged cripples.
    Brits are NOT peaceful - all that 'gentlemanly'
    crap is image projected by the more-monied class.
    Real Brits are ROUGH and MEAN - scrappers.

    There are online videos of british police dealing with knife and
    machete wielders. They play tag to keep the person disoriented.
    Then shields arrive. Once the police are safe, they mob the
    person until they get the handcuffs on. Not as fast or dramatic
    as just shooting him. Instead everyone survives and a court
    decides what to do.
