    Two inside WEEK does look kinda bad ....

    However it was Navy people, not Hegseth personally,
    who lost the jets over the side.

    Funny and emotionally satisfying but it's hardly Hegseth's fault those
    pilots missed the wire.

    It will come down to unqualified people.

    The current captain of the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier is
    Captain Christopher Hill...a white man. He's now lost three F/A-18s.

    Hill took command on February 20, 2025, replacing Captain Dave Snowden,
    another white man. Snowden was relieved of command after a loss of
    confidence due to a collision with a merchant vessel in February. Oops.

    Maybe a "DEI" will be more qualified than these two have shown to be.

    In the meantime, scuttlebutt on Hegseth is that he's not going to be
    allowed to pick his own XO, but he's going to have someone assigned to
    him, who will keep him in line....
