  • Weird - Trump Placing High Tariff on FOREIGN MOVIES

    Yep.

    Hey, you pay the same ticket price whether the
    movie was Made In USA or not ... it isn't like
    they're undercutting us there.

    The PROBLEM is that Hollywood MAKES REALLY CRAPPY
    MOVIES these days. It's either Woke crap or more
    new poorly-writ/edited "superhero" movies.

    Meanwhile foreign makers - even some Arabics -
    are making much smarter films.

    In any case, what IS an "American Film" ?
    Financing/shooting/editing ... can be from
    all over the world. Shit, all the 'Tattoine'
    stuff in Star Wars was filmed in Africa. Can
    we now do nothing but Westerns filmed in the
    studio back lot ?

    Oh, and suave British Villains - indispensable ! :-)

    I think he DOES have The Best in mind, but
    the MEANS have been, well, kinda ROUGH of late.
    Sometimes I'm reminded of "Harley Quinn"
