The 'western' world and friends are FADING AWAY.
Kiddies are a pain and expensive, so - in 1st-world
situations - they're just never born.
Both S.Korea and Japan are already seriously contemplating
subsidizing baby-mommas. Seems the idea is drifting over
to the USA as well.
The alternative - kind of like "Handmaid" ... which is
rather the situation in the Islamic world and much of
Africa and S.America. Women have very little power or
wealth or security - so lots of kids become vital. Add
rad Islamic concepts to that and ......
As it's going now, "Japan" and "Korea" are soon to
become just old geographic place-names ... the cultures
totally replaced by hired immigrant laborers.
Sorry, even robots ain't gonna save them.
