The vote was 9-0 against Trump:
    |
    | The Constitutional Crisis Is Here
    |
    | Trump's administration is only pretending to comply with
    | the Supreme Court on the matter of a Maryland man it
    | deported erroneously.

It's worse than that. Stephen Miller claimed SCOTUS unanimously ruled
*in favor* of Trump (!!) by claiming the Court's holding was only El
Salvador (not the USA) can decide whether to send him back.

    Well that's a blatant lie.

"Between the path of outright defiance of the Supreme Court and
following its order to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia
from El Salvadors infamous Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo
(CECOT), the Trump administration has chosen a third way: pretending
it is complying while refusing to do so."

This means that should El Salvador choose to release the criminal, we
can assist in having him returned to the country. There was no order
to have him released because the court knows it has no authority
outside of the US and cannot dictate foreign policy.

Lastly, the man is neither a US citizen nor a legal immigrant to the
US. The Supreme Court made a completely ceremonial ruling and they
    knew it.

What is inaccurate about that statement? Where in the ruling did the
court demand that this illegal be released from another country's
prison. Be VERY specific in your choice of words because you know
they didn't. The court knows it has no authority whatsoever outside
    of the country.

Trump is not (yet) in defiance of any court orders. At this point, the
Garcia case comes down to interpreting what "facilitate" means, which
has not yet been determined by the courts.

She has not acted on that yet. Contempt would be appropriate if Trump
doesn't answer what they are doing to facilitate Garcia's return. But,
it's not if they answer "we will provide a plane." That's an issue that
    should be decided on appeal.
