Featherston is the brother of Shelby Lynn Baker's ex-boyfriend
who apparently lived at the home for a short time.
"He was charged three years prior [to the home invasion] for
attempting to kill his father," Flowers said. "He served
three years in prison. We determined that while he was
living there, he had been trespassed by Amanda and had
multiple run-ins with Amanda and he said before leaving
for prison, 'When I get out, I'm going to kill you.'"
(Sheriff) Flowers said the fatal home invasion was driven
by a personal vendetta of Featherston.
"This absolute pshycho, Toby Featherston, made good on his
promise that when he got out, he was going to kill Amanda,"

Yep, CAN and DOES happen. Some perps are just BAD,
outright EVIL. You can hold 'em for 25 years and
the first thing they'll do is seek bloody vengeance.
However there's no objective way to TELL which perps
are "just talkin' trash" and which are deadly serious.
