The UK has detained the captain of a Portuguese cargo ship that
collided into a US tanker carrying jet fuel and led to a massive
blaze in the North Sea. Meanwhile, both vessels continue to
    smoulder.

    . . .

As mentioned yesterday, a tanker full of jet fuel for US
military needs - at anchor - was suddenly struck by a
freighter. Everything burst into flames, at least one dead
    and many injured.

However there ARE legit questions as to whether the nav
system on the freighter was hacked - either via software
or fed fake GPS signals. Russia has been screwing with
GPS along its Euro border for at least a year - making
things dangerous esp for aircraft. It COULD have turned
the freighter into a weapon without any of its crew
    being complicit.

Russia has been sponsoring more and more sabotage
in the Nordics - using proxy ships to tear up power
and data cables mostly but I've heard of possible
industrial/comms sabotage inland. This COULD be an
escalation, the start of a long 'warm war'.

    So, stay tuned ....
