Really NOT anything different about him or his politics.
Alas, maybe unintentionally, Trump has kinda revitalized
the Canadian left with his threats of assimilation. Le
Resistance is oft a powerful political position.
Don't think Trump, or anyone else, REALLY thinks
absorbing Canada is a good idea ... it's just a
political ploy. The culture/system/history is TOO
different for a good fit into the USA (plus, all
those FROGS !) But the "threat" ... THAT gets
things moving :-)
