Hantavirus is mostly a US southwestern thing - carried
by rodents. You can get it in your lungs by sweeping
up infested "dust". Then, rapid doom.
Seems the wife died first. Hackman had gone way senile
in the past few years. Without her help, without the
heart meds she made him take, he wandered around and
died maybe a week later.
So, not a murder - sorry TV mystery doc people - but
still a very odd double-death.
