Trump's massive MAGA budget deal passes as he triumphs over
unruly Republicans with back-door pressure campaign

House Speaker Mike Johnson performed an unenviable tightrope
walk on Tuesday night balancing Donald Trump's agenda and
    unruly GOP dissident's demands.

The House was set to vote on a resolution to advance a budget
that will guide how Congress spends trillions of dollars to
advance the president's deportation plans, enact tax cuts
on tips, overtime and more. The bill will facilitate
around $4.5 trillion in tax cuts, according to Republicans.

The process has taken up much of Johnson's time in recent
months, and as the top Republican in Congress, he has all
but promised the 78-year-old president he knows exactly how
to mobilize the Capitol's 272 Republican personalities.

    . . .

    OK !

THIS will cement Trump's de-funding of a bunch of
federal agencies. The agencies MAY still exist,
but they'll be ghosts of their former selves.

    WokieComs will be SCREAMING !!!

    2017 - Cut taxes!

    2025 - Cut more taxes!

2026 - Cut even more taxes!

2028 - Cut all taxes, borrow our way to prosperity!

    Biden lowered government spending.

Show data that includes the American rescue plan in it. Your cite is questionable at best.

When did Trump ever do that?

Spend our way to prosperity. How did that work out for us?

    Federal spending went up

That last has occurred to me often while watching Trump's deficits and debt balloon.

idjt has never been held responsible. He allowed to keep getting
with it. Bankruptcy courts let run up enormous and then walk away.

So a country is the same. Run up trillions in debt. And then just
    walk away.

    From "Davos Man":

That night, a handful of major American financial executives gathered for

unorthodox approach to governance. Were they worried about a trade war?
About confrontation with Iran or North Korea? About the breakdown of the
    liberal democratic order?

They shrugged. They were not thrilled about Trump’s proclivity to bully
people on Twitter, threatening American companies that invested overseas.
They could live without his talk of renouncing American public debt, as if
the United States Treasury were a giant Trump casino staring down a
creditor. But they were delighted by the elevation of a man who valued what
they valued: money. Trump had promised to deliver tax cuts, and he was
poised to deliver, given that Republicans were in charge of both chambers
of Congress. Like everything else in Trump’s world, they would be amazing,
    huge, unprecedented.

As long as he isn't president at the time.

Trump shrugs off future debt crisis: "I won't be here"
    December 05, 2018

President Trump is dismissing the importance
of paying down the national debt, saying he
won't be in office to take blame for the
nation's fiscal crisis when it becomes even
more unsustainable, according to a report
    Wednesday.

The national debt sits at $21 trillion and
counting. As a candidate, when the national
debt was $19 trillion, Trump promised to
erase the entire debt "over a period of eight
    years."

Trump said the data showed the national debt
would only become untenable after he left
    office, the Daily Beast reported.

"Yeah, but I won't be here, Trump said.
