Chicago, Midway airport.
. . .
Airliner had to abort landing at the very last
second, wheels were on the ground already when
a biz jet suddenly pulled across the active
runway. The airliner blasted itself back into
the air, just clearing the biz jet.
This time the videos were crystal clear.
The biz charter company has admitted its pilot
was the likely flaw in the system. The tower
had not authorized him to cross the runway,
but he did anyway.
Again, one little brain-fart and you've got
a truckload of dead bodies. Life ain't safe.
Mass transport DOES mean that mass casualties
are possible.
But there seem to be a LOT of such incidents
already and Feb ain't even over yet ...
Ain't just planes, saw a news vid from Korea
yesterday - a huge new bridge going over a river
and existing highway suddenly collapsed, and
squashed at least 8 people on the highway. The
whole thing was captured by a rear-looking
car-cam.
