Thank you for so advising, Erik. I've been using Apple computers and devices since 2009.

May I ask where you have sought help and advice on-line if you have ever
wished to discuss hardware and/or software matters with other folk?

In particular, have you ever used the Apple Support Communities (ASC) forums? Do you follow the general advice advocated there that one does not need to use anti-malware software on an Apple computer?

You were robbed; I see no clue there.

And as for "acumen" - cue Inigo Montoya (no, not "prepare to
    die"; the other one).

If I was a betting man I'd say you're somewhat woke.

just so you know... the OP is David Brooks under a new nym. It’s what he
    does.

Why are you stalking me, Wolfie?

I’m not stalking you, arsenugget. I’ve posted on this group for _years_.
You came here well after I was here.

And, if I was stalking you, it would be because you’re an insane, brain-damaged, alcohol-addled, serial homosexual sexual harasser, and a troll.

    Any more idiotic questions, arsenugget?
Take it easy. I no longer see what the troll's up to, and you don't
    have to either.

he’ll nymshift. it’s what he does. He’s done it for at least 17 years.

No. I've always posted as me.

He’s done it for at least 17 years.

Is that when you first started stalking me?

I've never owned or regularly used an Apple product in my life. Not

Actually there is one exception. For earbuds I went with a more
    expensive option.
