Imagine the opportunity to glimpse biology originating
from a totally alien world.
It is the holy grail of science.
We look at life on our planet and we believe we know
wha the rules are, what is and is not necessary. But to
compare life here to a completely unrelated,
uncontaminated ecosystem, see how similar or different
the evolutionary "Solutions" turned out, would redraw
EVERYTHING.
We haven't the ability to reach those alien worlds yet. For
all we know we haven't even located one, much less
figured out a way to reach them with THOUSANDS of
years. So, our only hope is that they reach us.
it's the only way we're ever going to get answers.
I spelled out four facts about alien civilizations. These
are not answers but a basis for perhaps deriving an
answer... or a test...
They're a starting point.
We start with fact and, using those as our foundation,
build the science.
