    That is not being done. The Supremacy Clause
    of the Constitution only applies where state laws
    confict - and are not merely different - with federal
    ones.

    If the Oregon state income tax has a tax credit
    for solar panels or EV's or bird feeders that is a
    difference - not a conflict - with federal tax law
    policy.

    Yes it is. The state legislation attempts to regulate greenhouse
    emissions nationwide and globally. It's total bullshit because it's an
    attempt to make the oil companies liable for any imaginary cause and
    affect crap politicians can dream up to extort money from them.

    Vermont is the worst. It's a useless state of welfare parasites. They
    refuse to permit industry to build and operate while demanding the federal government hand them money for nothing.
