    I think we need to look closer at the Roman civilization. This was no backwards backwoods palisade. That they had writing is what seals it
    for me. You know all that discussion of atmospheric space debris, how
    much of that is due to Roman satellite installations from 100 BC?

    All of them, but that still doesn't discount the theory.
