There are people in feminism who say that they want women to be treated like human beings.

For the life of me I can’t figure out what that means.

What, really, does it mean to treat someone like a human being? If they mean being treated the way that men treat other men, boy do they have another thing coming. Most men treat one another like shit. When a man comes up to another man talking trash,
the usual response is punching him in the face. Do they want to have the same thing happen to them when they likewise talk trash to a man?

I, for one, am very much in favor of women’s rights. I have a daughter whom I love. I’ve been a part of an effort to fight domestic violence. Women most certainly deserve all the rights that men have. But on this issue the feminists need to be clear.

So it is important to clarify what it means to treat someone like a human being. And then it will be possible for people to make an informed choice as to whether or not to do the same.
