Statement of the Ukrainian Pacifist Movement
19-year-old Hallel Rabin was brutally jailed in Israel for her conscientious objection to military service. Conscription is barbarism and shame for Israel, for Ukraine and for every country that has not yet eradicated this remnant of the savage
militarism of the world wars epoch. We support the War Resisters' International appeal to Defense Minister Benny Gantz to release Hallel from military prison.
