Bezos' fortune is not a big pile of coins in a room like Scrooge
McDuck. It's mostly Amazon stock. So basically the CBS anchor wants
the U.S. government to own a big chunk of Amazon. Sure, THAT would be
a great idea, to socialize the retail trade. Or maybe not.
