    Juries tend to be sympathetic to cops accused of homicides or assaults
    with firearms, but when the evidence is clear cut that the cop acted unlawfully, as it seems to be in this case, they will convict the cop.

    It is necessary for cops to be held accountable when they act outside
    the law. Without it, the public can't trust our system of justice.
