Actress Lindsay Lohan told The Times of London that she does not
support the #MeToo movement. Im going to really hate myself
for saying this, but I think by women speaking against all these
things, it makes them look weak when they are very strong
women, she said. The actress characterized those who have come
forward as attention-seekers. She told The Times she is very
supportive of women, but said they need to report misconduct
when it happens. If it happens at that moment, you discuss it
at that moment. You make it a real thing by making it a police
report. Last year, Lohan defended movie mogul Harvey Weinstein,
who has been accused of rape, sexual assault, or sexual
harassment by 87 women. I feel very bad for Harvey Weinstein
right now. I dont think its right whats going on. Hes never
harmed me or did anything to me, she said in an Instagram
video. Weve done several movies together. I think everyone
needs to stop. I think its wrong. So, stand up.
