    After a few years in New England, the Battens removed to England, where the parish register of Leyton, Essex, shows under 1675:

    Good find, John. Any idea if there are living descendants? I put a link to your post on Benjamin's page at FamilySearch. According to this narrative, Benjamin and Elizabeth sold property in Saybruck in 1674, https://books.google.com/books?id=IyBEAQAAMAAJ&
    pg=PA465&lpg=PA465&dq=Benjamin+Batten+Elizabeth+Cullick.

    I'm not sure about any descendants other than the two young children alive in 1675. I think John Cullick at least may have descendants through a daughter Hannah who married a Glover. Her mother may have been Cullick's first wife.

    I suppose there could be English descendants, but I didn't check the IGI for clues.
