    Have read this on the Web:
    "Petronella Hardwick born c1495 married her cousin Walter Hardwick of Great Moor House, Pattingham, Staffordshire on 5 October 1513. Their son Thomas was born c1520 and he married Johan Clemson.Their son Thomas born c1445 married Elizabeth Pyrrye/Perry.
    Their son Thomas, born c1589 married WHO?.These are the ancestors of the Westbury upon Severn Family. Regrettably, I am assured by Somerset County Archives, there are no church records to rely on. Thomas Hardwick 1617 died in Oxenhall, Gloucestershire
    1681. His WILL is on WWW, dated 1681/82 which lists all his children."

    Does anyone know if the the Staffordshire Hardwicks are indeed the ancestors of the Westbury Hardwicks?

    Still no proof that Thomas Hardwick of Westbury, Somerset, was a son of Thomas and Elizabeth of Staffordshire; will keep hunting.
