    Dear Group:
    I am looking for the ancestry of Alice Keynes wife of William Southcote and mother of Nicholas Southcote Sr.

    Nicholas Southcote was born @1420 in Devonshire. I have seen her father listed as a Philip Keynes.

    Any information would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

    Unless you have a credible source, I would toss the idea that Nicholas was born about 1420
    I don't think we have any firm chronology of this part of the family.
