    Just a slight confusion with the dates? So many mistakes on documents.
    The NSW BDM's have a record of the following marriages.

    Alfred G J NEALE/Emily WEST, 1853
    Alfred G J NEALE/Amelia A MEURANT, 1854

    Thanks Kate. The first wife seems to have died in 1854, and the husband remarried the same year.
