In
http://www.nfld.com/~dalton/celtic.html I argue that the inspirations of Ceridwen experienced by Taliesin were similar to my waning crescent highs
(five from 1991 to 1994) since Ceridwen the crone can be associated with
waning crescent moon. On the other hand the prison of Arianrhod experienced
by Taliesin I liken to my waxing gibbous moon trials (eight from 1992 to
1997) ending no later than full moon.
In the poetry of Taliesin Ceridwen is also said to have transformed into a
sow and a hen.
I speculate that Ceridwen is the same as my deity Gaia (Mother Earth). Do you think there is any evidence for that?
