    Do you want to land PRC in a *unnecessary* shit creek?

    It would be nice as an "importance indicator".
    It would not be nice as "inefficiency indicator" because the realistic
    goals beyond a (short term) cease fire are "unlikely" IMHO.

    So, after "a few weeks" of a two way blows exchange PRC may try to
    negotiate a cease fire. I may be cost effective at reasonable risk
    *for PRC* IMHO.

    BTW "Moral authority" used in this content makes me "vary"
    [a diplomatic understatement]

    Of course, moral authority, like beauty, is the eye of the beholder.

    In the case of bringing peace between Iran and Israel, it depends, first
    and foremost, on what Israel really want from the attack. It said Iran
    was racing toward a usable nuclear weapon. US intel says otherwise. So,
    one has to wonder what Israel really wants to achieve from the attack.

    On the flip side, what cards do Iran have? To the extent that Israel
    attacks with a false premise, China could help Iran defends itself.

    I do not believe that USA says what it is *really* "afraid of".
    "Three years to nukes" makes it still Trump's problem.

    Israel attacked Iran's nuclear targets so it is wiling to stop
    "the exchange" (cut costs). Iran has been attacked and it most likely unwilling to stop "the exchange" *at least* before getting "somehow even". *Quick* cease fire would be much more in Israel's interest.

    Any idiot chief can _start_ a war.
