  • [IF Democracy is good & Dictatorship is Bad] Why only 30% Say U.S. Head

    "Thirty percent (30%) of Likely U.S. Voters think the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey for the week ending November 16, 2023."

    Obviously, only 30% say US heading in right direction means bad things have happened to the people. Dictatorship is considered bad because it causes bad things to the people. Should one say the US is now a dictatorship?

    In PRC wide agreement of voters about which direction is right can be
    "easily overruled" by CPC, can't it?

    Feel free to provide example of CCP overruling citizens'.
    More important, "Politics is the art of the possible, the attainable. ... The art of the next best."
    China or German makes no difference.

    American politics may be the exception and the cause of consistently wrong direction.
    Why? The U.S. political system is not a public institution, but a private industry (or two party
    dictatorship) that sets its own rules to advance political leaders' own interest, not the public
    interest.
