allies betrayed and abandoned by the United States and its allies.

And the women of Afghanistan are about to join a long list of women around
the world abandoned by "Western liberalism/progressivism" under the
expedient excuse of "multiculturalism".

Is "the West" declining, or are we selling the world to savagery, as long
as our rulers and their flacks and thugs can live their lives out rolling
in wealth, and to Hell with the world and our and their own children and children's children?

I don't think the Afghans ever showed enough support for the western
troops to make them worth helping. Thousands of soldiers killed or wound
and billions of dollars spent and that rag tag collection of
fundamentalists fighters still had support among the people. We would
be better off to just put up a big wall and keep them all in there to rot.

Freedom is not something you enjoy for yourself. One day the enemy will be taking your freedom away because you and your kind let them enslaved the rest of the world.
