An 18-year-old woman was killed in a shooting on campus at Delaware State University early Sunday morning, police said.
The woman, who was not a student, was found with a gunshot wound by campus police outside of a dormitory at 1:40 a.m., The Delaware State University Student Government Association said in a statement obtained by Delaware
Online.
She was transported to Bayhealth Medical Center where she was pronounced
dead.
No information has been released by law enforcement agencies.
University spokesperson Carlos Holmes said the incident is being
investigated by Delaware State University Police and Dover Police.
The campus is currently closed and all weekend events have been canceled, officials said.

The Biden administration has made it so there is no safe place left in the country. Just a few years ago universities and colleges designated safe
space areas. Where have they gone? Perhaps if there were more NO GUN ZONE signs in the area this shooting would never have happened.

Obviously, we need additional "No shooting people" signs. That will solve
the problem. The college administration should have thought about that,
but they were too busy making sure the DEI hires were appropriately
situated.

There could have been 100 no shooting people signs (although Ive never
heard of one) and bad guys carrying a gun will totally ignore every single
one of them.

What happened to all the signs that said Trespassers will be shot on site!
Or was it on sight.
