Israel has launched attacks on Iran.
Israel is out of control. Its ostensible aim, of somehow disabling Iran’s nuclear program purely through remote strikes, is unachievable.
At some point, the heat will crank up too high for Israel to bear. So
Netanyahu is betting the well-being of his entire country on being able to
drag the USA into the conflict.
Trump got elected on a promise of being a “peace” President, who would
keep the US out of conflicts instead of letting it be dragged into them.
Will he keep that promise, or will overriding and unflinching support of
Israel prevail?
Is it “America First” as he (and his supporters keep saying)? Or is it really “Israel First, America Second”, as his actions seem to be indicating?
