Dunno WHAT to do with those people.
They rallied behind the ultra-horrible Hamas - and in
that respect got exactly what they deserved, even
dragged their kiddies into it, let Hamas use them
as sandbags.
Now Gaza ... well, IS there a 'Gaza' anymore ? It's
been bombed out of existence. No places to live, no
resources, no NOTHING - and neither the USA or EU
is gonna send lots of money/stuff there. The ground
is also full of unexploded ordinance and old Hamas
tunnels full of explosives - so Trump had better not
build any hotels there. Gaza is kind of a dead zone.
Just make it a 'coastal nature reserve' or something.
Thing is, NOBODY in the area likes "Palestinians".
We don't see Egypt, Lebanon or Jordan stepping up
to take in all those people. "Not Our Problem !".
Palestinians = TROUBLE. They all know it.
The people of Germany and Japan suffered from Allied bombs.
What they had going post-war was volunteering to become a bulwark in
case the Commies decided to start invading other nations.
West Germans in particular knew that the U.S. helped rebuild their
nation so that they can serve as human shields for American troops in
cases the Soviets decided not to stay on their side of the Iron Curtain.
There is no one against whom Gaza could be a bulwark.
