    On Sunday April 23rd, St. George's Day, PA East Midlands hosted a
    demonstration in the town of Long Eaton.

    Long Eaton has been blighted by two migrant hotels, the Novotel and Best Western. Residents have complained of harassment and intimidation, with
    police dismissing claims as racist and refusing to follow up.

    Patriotic Alternative didn't just organise and attend our own protest in
    Long Eaton on Sunday, we were also invited to attend a second protest in Kegworth which was organised by locals who oppose the migrant hotel there.

    It was great to form connections with local people who share the same
    concerns as us and in particular the ladies who were running the protest
    stood out as being outspoken and brave. After the protest, we joined them
    for a drink in the pub. We look forward to seeing them again in the future.
