Coded Welding Training equips Learners with capabilities to perform particular welding methods by testing the ability to demonstrate the chosen method correctly.
This is then examined by an approved test examiner to see if the welder is capable of doing the job. If the welder passes, he is then considered to be Coded to that specification.
After the Welder approval test, a Double Coded Welding Certification approved by the International Institute of Welding ( IIW ) is awarded and Welders earn an average salary of R15000 – R30000 per month.
