    In 100 years we'll all be dead
    Those that count the silver
    Those that count the gold
    Those that count the lead

    Those that attach uranium
    To the high-tech warhead
    Those that forge titanium
    Hoping the enemy's dead

    I should be grateful for Sun
    Though it does not shine for me
    I should be grateful for time
    Even when nothing is free

    Am I just so ungrateful?
    Or are we abandoned by gods?
    (For long had the light pollution
    prevented from seeing the stars.)
