Amazon Prime price hike is coming... as experts predict how
much your bill will increase by and when

Experts predict shoppers could see a $20 spike in Amazon
    Prime memberships.

JP Morgan analyst Douglas Anmuth found that Amazon customers
may need to pay $159 instead of the usual $139 annually for
a Prime membership starting next year.

'A $20 U.S. Prime price increase is seen driving about $3
billion in incremental annualized net sales,' according to
    a note via TheStreet.

    . . .

    Hmm ...

    Let's see - Amazon is now like 50% robots/AI.
Energy prices are kinda down. Trump is kinda
    cutting some labor/union perks.

SO ... 'prime' should be getting CHEAPER.

    So what's up ???

Well, it's a biz ... so think PROFITS.

Amazon has a wonderful inventory, but there ARE
other provider(s) who collectively can deliver
the same stuff at better prices.

    Suggest checking them out ......

The Collective We shouldn't be on the hook
for the price of Jeff's wedding expenses.

      Hmm ...

    predict, may, could.

    A lot of certainty there.

      Let's see - Amazon is now like 50% robots/AI.

    Source?

      Energy prices are kinda down.

Amazon's energy consumption and expenses are up.

    Trump is kinda
      cutting some labor/union perks.

    Which ones?

SO ... 'prime' should be getting CHEAPER.

    SO ... not necessarily.

      So what's up ???

    So you're lying. That's what's up.

Well, it's a biz ... so think PROFITS.

That's right. You think it's expensive now you should see it when
    profits aren't considered.

Amazon has a wonderful inventory, but there ARE
other provider(s) who collectively can deliver
the same stuff at better prices.

Now you're finally getting somewhere. Thank you capitalism.

      Suggest checking them out ......

for the price of Jeff's wedding expenses.

    You aren't.

Anything found on Amazon, excluding some of the edible garbage, can be
found on eBay cheaper and usually from the same seller. It gets there
    just as fast.
