What so called "letter bombs" were in the previous century, electric
cars are to the 21st century. OJ Simpson could have simply given Nicole
Brown Simpson a "Bolt" EV as a gift if they had been available in the
decade when he allegedly killed his wife and Cato Calin. The Unabomber
could have simply gifted Bolt EV's to the various professors and others
he had sent mail bombs to and whistled past Florence Prison.

While gasoline his highly flammable it requires oxygen to burn. A
charged battery is self contained with both oxidant and reductant and
when it catches fire it cannot be extinguished just maybe contained by continuous flooding with water.

If I were forced to own an EV I would never park it in my attached
garage as it would burn down the whole house.

The downside of parking the EV outside is that in winter weather and low temperatures, the batteries charge very slowly or not at all.
