Russia is seeking a crackdown on material that supposedly
discourages having children. Russian President Vladimir Putin
has urged couples to have children as the country's birth
rate drops.
. . .
This is becoming a big issue across much of the globe.
Russia, of course, has gone the authoritarian route.
In a year or two I'd kinda expect a "baby quota" to
be imposed. Breed, or go to the back of the line.
Something like this may soon be seen in a number of
other countries. SK and Japan are in *the* worst
population situations - demographics show that the
pop-replacement rate is now less than HALF 'replacement'.
Neither culture will survive this for long. Foreign
workers are being imported in droves already and in
a gen or so THEY will be the masters. 'Japan' will
be a real-estate description, not a country/culture.
