Florida residents demand answers on flooding after Debby
. . .
Ummmmmm ... first off ... HURRICANE.
Guess what ? Hurricanes = LOTS AND LOTS OF *RAIN*
If you're near the ocean you get STORM SURGE on top
of the rain.
So, what "answers" are they demanding ? Seems quite
clear.
Sounds like people in Cal demanding answers about
why the ground keeps shaking ... people in Nebraska
demanding answers about why frozen water stuff
covers everything during winter months ......
Oh ... EPA and some state regs HAVE shifted "drainage"
far towards "water retention" ... a few fish apparently
outrank gigabucks worth of human properties. Florida
in particular oughtta fully open every ditch and canal
so water WILL pour out into the ocean. It'd be cheaper
to just pay any EPA fines.
