    But modern America ... tends to spend 50-100%
    more than it earns so it can look all posh
    and impressive. FLASH those dozen credit-cards
    in everyone's faces ! LIVE in that million
    dollar house on an $60,000 salary ! DRIVE
    that luxury sports car to the envy of others !

    Destination = RUIN.

    Exactly. I see people who don't understand this complaining about people
    with relatively typical means, like public servants or auto workers who
    in their seventies are millionaires.

    The power of regular savings and compound interest can make virtually
    any average person with self-restraint into a millionaire.
