    "Museums" aren't intended to DESTROY history ...

    This is modern "book-burning".

    BUT ... no doubt LOTS of hi-rez photos, maybe
    even a detailed 3-D laser scan, exist of this
    statue. I'd suggest Re-Creating it in high
    detail, and plopping it directly across the
    street from this "museum" :-)

    Meanwhile, is deliberate destruction of
    historical artifacts ILLEGAL ??? If so,
    ARREST these BLM fanatics. Don't let
    it go.

    As for other repositories of un-PC statues and
    paintings and such - DO the high-rez laser scans
    NOW and make sure they're copied in many places
    across the world.

    You may not LIKE "history", but it was what it was,
    the Truth on many levels. Hey, should Xian fundies
    be allowed to grind-away Neanderthal drawings in
    caves because they don't fit their theology ? Kinda
    like when the Taliban blew up those giant Buddha
    statues ....

    THIS is the SAME thing, the SAME hateful disregard
    for what was, for the Truth of the times.

    NEVER give in to the "revisionists" - their mission
    is ALWAYS evil.
