On Jewish TV of all places.
A lot of very successful writers contributed - and
often the most famous do NOT use word-processors but
olde-tyme typewriters.
They ARE different. Pages and The Experience are far
more "tangible" Mind PLUS Body are involved. The
relative permanence means you have to consider what
you plan to write far more than anyone using computers
and that seems to promote high quality output.
Seems a lot of people - even a growing number of
Gens Y/Z - are still into typewriters. There is
still a market for those who fix typewriters.
PARTS are an issue now ... but 3-D metal printing
and CNC machining are likely the solutions.
Me, I've still got a "portable", bought used about
55 years ago - and it WORKS. None of my laptops and
such will work after that span of time ... likely
the disks and thumb-drives won't work either. But
the typed, ink, PAGE ... they'll have to send
The Firemen to get rid of those :-)
