Federal judge AXES 1968 law banning under 21s from buying
handguns, after ruling statute violated Second Amendment
rights of over 18s
District Judge Robert E. Payne concluded in a 71-page file
that current regulations cannot stand as they are not
'consistent'
The plaintiff in the case, John Corey Fraser, was 20 years
old when he attempted to buy a Glock 19x handgun from a
federally licensed dealer and was turned away
Judge Payne sided with Fraser, saying the right to purchase
a handgun falls under right to 'keep and bear arms,' and
young adults are among 'the people' protected by the
Second Amendment
. . .
Hmmm ... next the Wokies will say the 1st amendment
doesn't apply if you're over 30 .......
Sorry, but rights are rights. If you're legally an
adult - with all that comes, and taxes, with that -
then you can pick your religion, speak your mind and
buy a gun. The larger good does outweigh the occasional
transgressor no matter how the MSM tries to hype it.
Yea, yea ... the Wokies will immediately go shopping
for another federal judge ... the usual game ... but
it's good to know there still ARE some Constitutionalists
out there.
